Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was Amal A. Alamuddin. She is a Lebanese British legal practitioner and human rights activist. After graduating from Oxford University School of Law she went on to pursue an extensive and successful profession in the field of human rights and international law. The clients she has worked with have been numerous nation states, including the state of Armenia fighting for recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney married American actor George Clooney and became a well-known name in pop media in the year the year 2014. In the past, she was known for successfully representing her clients before courts and was well-known. Her work spans between social justice and human rights, to representing multinational corporations during the negotiation process or litigating cases involving the regulations of government.
